Almus Wealth was set up in early 2015 in response to an apparent gap in the financial advice market.  Almus  (as we are sure you are already aware) translates from Latin as ‘nourishing’ or ‘protecting’ and we feel that this very suitably reflects our values and our relationships with our clients.  Our research has shown that clients want to build a relationship of trust and want to understand why a particular course of action is best for them.  

Just because you can’t see what you are investing in by…… kicking the tyres, trying on the new shoes or squeezing the avocado….. does not mean that all investment or protection solutions are all the same.  They most certainly are not.  

It is our role to identify the need, establish your priorities and provide the best possible solution.

Where financial planning is required, the sale of financial products is too often the immediate solution that is applied.   We are determined to focus on our clients’ needs and to run through the options with you.  We believe that your involvement in creating the solutions is paramount.

We charge for our time in providing financial advice and wealth management services - not for selling products. Our clients have benefitted from ‘buying’ fewer products, from lower charges and from greater transparency about how and why we are paid.

Because we tell you what the charge will be in advance and we express it in pounds, shillings and pence (although clearly not really in shillings) and because we explain what we will be doing, you have clarity and control.

Oh, and we should point out that Almus Wealth offers Independent Financial Advice.... This means that we are not restricted to only recommending a single company's products or from a limited range AND that our advice covers the broadest range.
