About Us
Chris is a Chartered Financial Planner and has qualified - and is able - to hold the titles of Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Wealth Manager, making him one of the most highly qualified financial planners in the country.
In 2015, Chris joined the Money Plan scheme, in which he volunteers time each month to assist the fabulous work carried out by Citizens Advice. In 2017 he was short-listed for MoneyPlanner of the Year in the prestigious Personal Finance Society awards.
Although Almus Wealth is moving from its infancy to becoming an established practice, Chris has been advising clients in London for the last 25 years.
Formerly Chris has held the role of the Regional Chair for the London professional body for financial planners, the Personal Finance Society, which aims to improve standards through qualification, continuing professional development and higher ethical standards. Chris still continues to be involved in promoting Financial Planning as a career choice through the 'Discover Fortunes' initiative, which is aimed at 6th form pupils and also talks at Universities on behalf of the professional body, Chartered Insurance Institute.
Almus Wealth was established with a focus on enabling clients to invest for positive impact. Most investors have some idea of where they wish their wealth to have the greatest impact, whether that is to combat homelessness, curb climate change or build on some - or all - of the Sustainable Development Goals set out by the United Nations in 2016.
We will aim to explore these values at an early stage.
